Students are introduced to the basic foundations of networking. Concepts covered include LANS, WANS, the OSI model, cabling, router configuration, and management. This course as part of the Cisco Networking Academy program emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and practical application of skills through hands-on labs and Packet Tracer simulations. Students are prepared to take the CompTIA Cisco CCENT and CCNA certification exams.
