In this introductory-level course, students establish a foundation in the history and current industry standards of printing and graphic design, and learn about careers and college studies in the arts, media, and communications industries. Through real-world projects using basic and intermediate techniques of Adobe software, students apply teamwork skills, layout and design techniques, and binding techniques. As a part of the PrintED certified program, students can earn PrintED certification with the successful completion of two years of coursework.
