This NGSS-aligned course is designed for students to continue their interest in Chemistry as it relates to science, technology, and engineering. This course promotes enduring, conceptual understandings through inquiry-based learning, scientific reasoning, and engaging in science practices. Students are prepared to take the AP Chemistry examination at the end of the course. Topics of study will include properties and changes of matter, reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and intermolecular interactions. This course is approved for NGSS high school graduation credit.
