Students will learn to create, perform, and respond to piano music in a variety of styles/ genres. Students will continue to develop intermediate skills learned in HS Piano 2 and move on to advanced piano skills and techniques, including expanded study of music literacy, chord chart reading, and music theory concepts. Cultural, historical, personal, and social context are studied as they relate to piano repertoire. Students will progress independently using effective practice habits. This course satisfies the fine arts graduation requirement and may be repeated unlimited times for credit.
