Students study the structure and functions of the human body by investigating the response of the body to the external environment maintenance of homeostasis electrical interactions transport system and energy processes. Students will conduct laboratory investigations and fieldwork use scientific methods during investigations to solve problems and make informed decisions. Upon completion of this course students will be eligible to take a medical terminology exam for college credit.
