This course is designed to teach English as a new language to ESOL students at the Intermediate English proficiency level. Reading, writing, listening, and speaking are integrated into thematic academic units with writing across the curriculum. A general introduction to American culture is provided. This course meets creates the double period every day. This course is a corequisite for any grade-level English for English Learners III. This course is offered for elective credit only.
