This semester course is designed to develop leadership skills within the physical education setting who may be interested in pursuing careers in physical education, special education, human performance, and physical or occupational therapy. Students will have the opportunity to assist peer students who have various physical and learning disabilities that effect their development of movement skills and fitness. Students will explore and analyze a variety of disabilities and develop recreational goals for fitness that connect with peer students. Physical Education Teachers and Counselors should approve student enrollment in this course.
